We’re stirring up another great week on WOR, including Joan Hamburg dealing another winning hand at “21,” the current New York Governor and the man he replaced, and a look at President Obama’s foreign policy performance from our country’s counter-terrorism coordinator under President Ronald Reagan! Here’s just some of the highlights of the week ahead…

MONDAY

Jon Palfreman, producer of PBS’ “Frontline,” talks with John Gambling about “The Vaccine War,” which airs tomorrow night, and examines the increasingly bitter debate between vaccine opponents and the public health establishment. Plus, Len Berman and John catch up on the weekend’s sports highlights!

Motherhood – it’s wonderful but challenging, especially here in the Big Apple! Laura Bennett of “Project Runway” and MSN’s “Glam Squad” Style Studio, joins Joan Hamburg to discuss her new book, Didn’t I Feed You Yesterday?, an irreverent take on modern motherhood and raising a brood of fast-moving, messy, wild sons in the jungles of Manhattan! Then, life coach Ken Jedding shares the results of his decade of one-on-one discussions with college students and graduates across the country with Joan, and what we can all learn from the issues and concerns he heard voiced most often – everything from “What is my purpose in life?” to “How can I land my dream job?” to “How did I wind up back in my parents’ house?”

Don’t miss the first full week of our new online-only show, “Valerie’s New York,” in which legendary New York air personality Valerie Smaldone pulls back the curtain on all the happenings in the Greatest City in the World! Weekdays at 11am on WOR710.com!

TUESDAY

Former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer joins John Gambling to share his thoughts on President Obama’s plan for Wall Street reform. Plus, Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North, a member of the National Security Council staff during the Reagan administration, shares his thoughts on President Obama’s foreign policy with John, particularly regarding Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

Joan Hamburg broadcasts live from the “21 Club” and is joined by a stellar lineup of guests, including a special spotlight on the Tribeca Film Festival! Robert Duvall and Sissy Spacek chat with Joan about their new movie, “Get Low,” the story of a backwoods recluse’s desire for a “living funeral,” in which anyone who ever had heard a story about him (and there are plenty!) will come to tell it, while he takes it all in. Then Oliver Platt talks with Joan about his latest flick, “Please Give,” in which a couple and their teenage daughter want to purchase their neighbor’s apartment to expand their own, but have to wait for the woman living there to die first. Plus, you know the laughs will be plentiful when the one-and-only Joan Rivers stops by to discuss the new season of her TV Land reality series “How’d You Get So Rich?” Finally – did you ever wish you could look thinner…WITHOUT dieting? You can, and Charla Krupp will share her secrets on how to look ten pounds lighter, ten years younger, and ten times sexier with Joan!

WEDNESDAY

It’s time for Joan Hamburg’s weekly “Food Hour,” and today she welcomes Mireille Guiliano, who will talk with her about her new book, The French Women Don’t Get Fat Cookbook, which offers a long-awaited collection of delicious, healthy recipes and advice on eating well without gaining weight! Then, David Remnick, editor of The New Yorker, stops by to discuss his new work on the circumstances and experiences of President Obama’s life and the ambition behind his rise. Plus, a look at the hottest new fashion trends from Linda Dano!

THURSDAY

Governor David Paterson talks about the latest news from Albany with John Gambling!

FRIDAY

What simple changes can you make to put you on the path to your own personal high-water mark of positive feelings? Find out when Dr. Ian Smith talks with Joan Hamburg today! Plus, Joan talks with Betsy Berns, author of Win, Place and Show: A Female Fan Guide to Thoroughbred Racing, about this weekend’s Kentucky Derby and how sports can be made more accessible to women.
