You’ll get YOUR chance to get the answers to your questions about what’s been going on in New York State as Governor David Paterson sits down live in-studio for his first-ever town hall meeting with John Gambling this week! Plus, John and Steve Malzberg have our anti-terror trial petition hand-delivered directly to Washington! And if all of that’s not enough, we’ll serve up some delicious eats for St. Patrick’s Day and talk with a former American Idol! What a week ahead! Here’s a sneak peak:

MONDAY

This morning at 11 in Foley Square, John Gambling and Steve Malzberg deliver bound copies of our petition against holding the terror trials in New York City…signed by more than 25,000 of you…to Congressman Peter King, who will take them directly to Washington, where he’ll hand-deliver them to President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder!

A four-day school week? A good idea or just another foolish attempt to save a few bucks? John Gambling talks with Neil McCluskey, Director of the Cato Institute’s Center on Education Freedom, this morning! Plus, John talks with Nick Schuyler, the only one of four men to be rescued after their boat capsized in the Gulf of Mexico, about his ordeal and how he survived. And Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy talks with John about his possible run for Governor!

TUESDAY

Whatchu talkin’ about, Joan? Er, that’s Willis…former Diff’rent Strokes star Todd Bridges stops by to talk with Joan Hamburg about his life after the popular television show ended. He’ll tell his story of turning to drugs as an escape, losing control, and his descent into addiction, providing a graphic chronicle of his self-destruction and his painful journey back to sobriety.

WEDNESDAY

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a festive Food Hour on the Joan Hamburg Show! Fergal Murray, Guinness Master Brewer, stops by to talk with Joan…is there anyone else you would want to talk to on St. Patrick’s Day?!? Plus, Rachel Allen, Ireland’s most-famous chef, talks with Joan about her new cookbook, Favorite Food at Home, which draws on international influences, classic regional Irish fare, and good old family favorites to provide creative options for every occasion. And taste and tell features…what else…corned beef and cabbage. Plus, Joan catches up with former American Idol winner Taylor Hicks!

THURSDAY

Not too many people get a sit-down with New York Governor David Paterson these days…but John Gambling welcomes him as an in-studio guest this morning from 7-8am. The appearance will be Paterson’s first sit-down interview since his recent scandal, and will focus on the latest news from Albany. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to call in and email your questions directly to the Governor during “Town Hall” segments included throughout the hour! Get a jump on the line by sending your question now to governor@wor710.com!

FRIDAY

Mayor Michael Bloomberg joins John Gambling for their weekly chat about all things New York City!
